Carroll family reunion in Bellingham

I had a disaster with my email and lost a lot of messages.  Andrew switched me to gmail and retrieved many but not nearly all, emails

June 21 Michael had a very bad bicycle accident, I went to help for week

I visited Sue for two days, went to Philadelphia

June – Peter to Cambodia, CC and P to California

March 1 Peter, Chin Chin, and Parcie came to live with me.

I visited Michael’s family for a quick weekend in the end of Feb., after a planned flight was cancelled

2009

I went to Hong’s for Christmas

I went to Cape 5 times during the summer.  First with Elisabeth and Sarah’s family (dinner with Mary Jane), then S & S & Leilani’s family, then Michael & Hong for interment of Art’s ashes on Aug.8, then my birthday with M & H, then with Hong’s family

Memorial service for Art on May 30 at 2pm, Mt. Toby Friends Meeting in Leverett, MA

Art died Feb. 5, 2009 at Center for Extended Care in Amherst.  He had aspiration pneumonia.

2008

Peter & Alice at Michael’s for Christmas.

Michael’s family came here for Thanksgiving, went to Hong’s

Peter married Chin Chin on July 1 in Delhi.  Alice went & Michael was here

Hong’s family went to China, Hong Kong & Cambodia in May/June

Art moved to Center for Extended Care in Amherst on April 21

Hong went to Cambodia for a month in March.

Peter returned home in March.  He made definite plans to marry Chin Chin in India in May or June.

Art developed a fever, needed oxygen Jan.5, x-ray on 7th identified aspiration pneumonia.  Taken off antibiotics.  Recovered. No further attempts to get Art to walk.

2007

Peter and Michael got Art walking.  Video taken.  Peter went to Cambodia

Michael’s family came for Christmas and we all went to Hong’s

Art stopped walking Nov. 27

Art moved to Western Mass. Hospital in Westfield November 7

Art moved to Providence Hospital in Holyoke on October 22/23

Art moved to the Arbors Reflections unit on September 6

Swift family reunion in July.  Art & Alice & Kimberly there four days

Art was honored in May when the Connector bike path from the Norwottock Rail Trail to the University was named the “Swift Connector”

We applied for long term care insurance and Art was denied.

Alice went to Seattle to help while Suzanne sick, caught in Denver in blizzard.  U.S. attacked Iraq March 19
